Church Core Values

Serving
Creating Environments & Opportunities

The church exists to serve people. Jesus Himself served & model for us the way we are to love & serve one another, not only in in our own church & our own communities, but all throughout the Kingdom of God.
James 2:14-26, Ephesians 2:8-10 Romans 12:3-8

Prayer
Encourage & Equip

Jesus said it best when he quoted the Jewish prophet Isaiah: “My Fathers house shall be a house of prayer”.  Prayer is an indispensable tenant of our faith as Christians & an active part of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our prayer time should be personal, corporate, and always with an expectation that God loves to hear our prayers & His perfect will, will be done in the requests brought to Him.
Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13 & 22, Philippian’s 4:6-7, James 5:16

Generosity
Money

God wants us to be generous with everything; our time, talents & treasures. As a whole we don’t talk a lot about the treasures part, but Jesus did! He spent a lot of time talking about money. God is a giver & He wants us to be that way too. Cheerful givers who give to God & His church our first & our best fruits. We give so we can minister better & we give to see the Gospel change lives. We are generous with others, with our church
& with our money.
Genesis 4:3-5, Proverbs 3:9-10, Malachi 3:10,
Luke 11:42, Mark 10:17-27 & 12:41-44
Community
Pursing Relationships With God & Others

It is not good for us to be alone. We were made to be in fellowship together & “doing life” with other people. This is especially true in our Christian community as Jesus commands us & the Apostle Paul encourages us many times in Scripture. Our communing together, our fellowship, should be inviting, encouraging & with a desire to see one another grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalm 133, Acts 2:42, John 13:35
Hebrews 10:24-25, Philippians 2:1

The Gospel
Influence Throughout

The Gospel is literally Good News meant for every human to hear & respond to. As Christians the Gospel should be permeating every part of our lives & we are to be bold, yet loving in sharing this hope with the community around us. This Gospel mindset impacts what we do locally in our towns & our jobs, regionally in New England & also globally as we support people spreading this Good News all over the world!
Isaiah 61:1, Matthew 28:16-20
Romans 10:14-15;  1 Corinthians 1:17
