So incase you didn't hear... we're tackling a lot of projects this September. Some of these items have been needs of our church for a long time and now due to your faithful giving we're able to address several items at once. 

Projects galore in both buildings! One of the most significant items will be cleaning up & separating the restrooms in the Main Sanctuary building into a Men's and Women's Room. Essentially a full bathroom renovation! Additionally, we're going to add another nursery room (as we continue to have a ton of babies!) and give the current nursery rooms a little glow up with paint & some flooring.
Moving upstairs we're carpeting and painting the sanctuary itself as well as some clean up and updates to the front platform/stage area. We can't wait for you to see what we have planned.
One of the most important parts of this announcement is that we are fully funded to replace the boiler in the older part of the building next door. We're going to be able to move forward with a heating system that will keep our kids, offices and kitchen warm and efficient for a long long time. 

This past Sunday 8-23 will be our last Sunday meeting in the church Sanctuary for the next little while. We'll be outdoors (the weather looks LOVELY) for our last Outdoor Service of the summer on August 30th and then for the estimated 4-6 weeks, while we don't have bathrooms and have the floor replaced, our plan is to have church as usual next door in the Fellowship Hall. We'll have our comfy chairs, two service times @ 9 & 10:30 AM and of course worship, prayer & preaching. We'll be able to livestream the service as well as continue our Youth Group, Creation Kids and Nursery ministries all in the Fellowship Hall building.

This is where the church becomes the church! We're so much more than a building, and here are several ways we would love for you to help us out during this period of projects & transition.

• Faithfully Attend
• Faithfully Give  
• Faithfully Volunteer

All of these things are actionable items of being a part of a living, breathing church! And they build upon one another.
Will you faithfully pray for wisdom & safety as we move forward with these projects? Would you pray for the skilled hands and the fruit to come from this? At the end of the day it's just a building right? Wood & concrete, but I can't tell you how many people have stopped into a Sunday morning just because the lawn looked beautiful. So if God can use a lawn and a pretty white steeple to draw people close, would you please pray that these projects would allow people who are far from God to encounter Him in a real and personal way?
Will you faithfully attend while we're meeting in a different building? Change can be intimidating, but we've done it as a church before, be it the Bradley Theater or the Thompson Highschool. How about Pastor Chris' last sermon on New Wine in New Wineskins? This is the perfect opportunity to put that principle into practice. A chance for us to demonstrate that the church OUR church is so much more than a building!
Will you continue to faithfully give? Our leadership team has always strived to be wise and responsible with the tithing of Creation Church. By God's grace all these projects have been funded by your faithful and continued giving. Thank you Church! Keep that up and lets see what God can do with our offering to Him.
Will you faithfully volunteer? Skilled, unskilled the heart attitude is exactly the same: "Here I Am Lord, Use Me!" If anyone is interested we're having a meeting after our outdoor service to walk through and talk through the project. Please see Pastor Chris if your able to assist!
