All Church Night!
Hi Everyone!
And let's consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24,25
It was another great weekend at Creation Church this past weekend with our Sweetheart Banquet on Saturday night and our two Worship Services on Sunday morning! Forty-two people came out for the banquet, which was a wonderful celebration of marriage, as we sang together, laughed together, encouraged one another, prayed together, and ate many delicious desserts together!
My one takeaway from the evening was the idea of going vertical (seeking the Lord first for my happiness and fulfillment) in my marriage. Three suggestions for couples to help them do so that night were: 1. Prayer together each day 2. Have a date night each week and 3. Get away for a weekend each year!
Despite the snow yesterday we met for both our 9:00am and 10:30am services! Tim gave us an encouraging message on God's love and the Worship Team led us in several beautiful, godly love songs! Creation Kids, also, met and had an encouraging time in the Lord!
I feel so blessed as a pastor that we have continued to meet each week throughout the winter through snow, ice and covid! I feel so blessed that we have been able to meet as much as we have these past two years! I think we only missed three Sundays in two years, which is incredible! Much thanks goes to our Worship Team, who have been so faithful in coming to lead us each week in worship! As I said on Sunday, my most precious time of the week is when we sing together as a body on Sunday mornings!
And, this Wednesday evening, we get to do it again, as we launch our first All Church Night at 6:30pm! This special evening led by Tim and our Worship Team will consist of worship, praise and prayer and will take place on the third Wednesday evening of each month! It plans to be a wonderful night together as a body! Hope you can make it!
