Chasing Vines

Hi Everyone!

Ladies, tomorrow night's the night!  Yes, the brand-new Bible study called Chasing Vines:  Finding Your Way to an Immensely Fruitful Life by Beth Moore kicks-off tomorrow evening at 6:30pm!  Gale is tremendously excited about this study, even in the middle of us selling our home!  Good Night!

What a Sunday we had this past weekend with a great message from Chris Long, great music from our Worship Team, our dry run for Community Kitchens, 20 children in Creation Kids, 75-80 adults between both services, a great VBS meeting, The Rock in action later that evening,  and just a great day fellowship together!

God is truly on the move at Creation Church, particularly in light of our Year of Living Dangerously!  Let me share this email I received this past Monday from one of our church members:  "Hi there, just thought I'd share this.  Today I was able to speak with a co-worker who has concerns about current events happening world wide.  She is catholic and believes in Jesus, but is not secure in her salvation.  I was able to encourage her with scripture and tell her that I believe Jesus is coming back for His bride very soon and that it matters what we do with the gift of His forgiveness and salvation for us.  While she did not make a profession of or a prayer for salvation, I feel I did what the Spirit would have me do - share my faith and plant a seed.  I realize too that I am not called to save people - in fact, none of us can - that is for the Lord to do.  I am called to be obedient to what I know the Spirit is telling me to do.  I think in witnessing it is for my benefit as well as those I share with."

Wow!  There it is!  Simply being obedient to what the Spirit is telling us!  That is what The Year of Living Dangerously looks like!  Praise God!

As always, we will be meeting for our Praise and Prayer Night tonight at 6:30pm in the Family Life Center!
