What A Sunday!
Hi Everyone!
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21
This was one of our key verses from yesterday's sermon, as we learned The Four Spiritual Laws together! At the end of each service, we gave an invitation to all in attendance to receive Christ, and Joey Read accepted the invitation after our second service and put his trust in Jesus Christ! Praise God!
After the service, Mona came up to me and said, "It never gets old!" (referring to someone coming to Christ), and she is absolutely right! You could just feel a bolt of the Holy Spirit going around the sanctuary! We now have three names on our Cross: John, Viola, and lnow, Joey! Praise God!
With 110 people in attendance yesterday at our Worship Services and 26 adults and children in Creation Kids, it truly felt like we were back as a church and it felt good! In addition, we had 22 ladies begin the Beth Moore Bible Study this past Thursday night!
Sixteen men have signed up for Game Night this Friday night at Pete Giles and a dozen men have signed up for the Iron Sharpens Iron Conference on March 19th! It's not too late to sign-up for either, just shoot me an email or text, so we can prepare accordingly! The cost for ISI is $49! I could sure use your support in coming, as I have been invited to be one their seminar speakers for the conference! My topic is "Marriage After the Kids Have Gone"! Thanks!
There's so much more to share, but I'll just leave you with a few reminders for the week: Community Groups meet tonight at the Deneaults and the Madaios in Thompson, our Romans Bible Study for Men meets on Tuesday night, the Red Letters Bible Study continues on Wednesday morning, as does our Praise and Prayer time on Wednesday evening, and the Beth Moore Bible Study for Women meets for the second time on Thursday night! Other than that, there's not much going on!
Yours in Christ,
Bernie
